The Jones Course is a straightforward layout featuring generous mounded fairways bordered by scenic lakes and towering trees. A perennial favorite among residents and guests, this course is an extraordinary golf experience for players of all skill levels. Wide fairways and large mounds are surrounded by water, with water coming into play on 11 holes of the Par 72 championship course. In addition to water hazards, the many pot and large expanse bunkers make for a delightfully challenging game of golf. This spectacular course measures 6,761 yards from the blue tees; 6,334 yards from the white tees; 5,716 from the gold tees; and 4,912 yards from the red tees

I loved this course! It was beautiful and well maintained. The clubhouse and practice areas were large and suitable for the area. We had a great time!

If you only have a few courses that you have time to play then you should consider placing this one at the top of your to-play list. My friend and I went and loved the course, the practice facility and the lay of the land. The place was very well maintained and the club house was fun to shop in... More

Really enjoyed this course. It is in pristine shape. The cart paths are perfect and the course is a dream to play. There was plenty to see along the course as well. Saw some gators and quite a few birds.

Played this course before in spring time..had a great time in may...this time it was soooooooo wet from all the awful rains they been having, I had to buy a new pair of shoes the next day to play at Byrd. Not the courses fault, but sure had played better on dry grounds in the past. We'll play again next... More

Depending on the tome of the year if it has rained a lot this course does not shed water well and is squishy.

The Jones course has some great holes. The course is always well maintained and the greens tend to be the best at Sea Trail imho. Don't get discouraged on #1. It's a long, straight, tight par 4 that plays to a 4.5 average for me. Enjoy the newly paved cart paths from last summer.

Played for a cheap price, good course, very good condition, enjoyed the scenery. I would say anyone could play. This was my 2nd time on a golf course this year, so I was not playing well, but still able to enjoy myself very much. Greens rolled well. Women's tees in good shape (often this is a problem at courses in... More

This is a great course that is well maintained and so close to a lot of the North Carolina beaches that are close to the South Carolina border. My son and I really enjoyed it.

My Wife and I played the Jones course at Sea Trail. I really enjoyed this course. It was really a fun course to play. A few negatives, some of the tee boxes were in pretty rough shape. The greens also were patchy in places but they really rolled well. If the course conditions was in better shape, this would be... More

All three of the courses at Sea Trail (Jones, Byrd & Maples) are in great shape this season. Tee to greens have been well cared for by the new owners. Rates are less tha you find on the "Grand Strand" Courses but the value is here in Brunswick County. Since we moved to the area with get to see these... More
