The City of Shelby has done a great job planning and keeping the Park. There is a pool, the golf course, playing fields, walking track, a carousel and a small train. It was clean, inviting and open.

There are several ball fields, golf, carousel, swimming pools, and activity center. The pools are crowded in the summer. The carousel is always fun and hardly ever crowded.

Train was broke and bathrooms are to far from the playground. Other than that it is a very nice park.

A great time to visit the park is after a good snowfall. Lots of folk soar down the hill on anything from a sleigh to a garbage can lid.

I'm not certain, but we were there in December so I imagine it's open year-round. Likely open daylight hours only. Just a guess.
