This was well worth the visit. The youngest in the group had fun counting all the steps; twenty-one, twenty eleven... I was a short hike up a hill to a lookout point where you can easily push a stroller or wheelchair. To get a little...More

I am 66 and this was great to see! The condition of the stairs down and up were well maintained with a nice resting bench. The falls themselves were heavy with water- beautiful!

I've seen Niagara multiple times and this was way more impressive. Easy 1/2 mile hike to first observation deck then 150 or so steps down to 2nd deck which is a way better view

Everyone said we must visit this waterfall and we weren't disappointed. Easy cement path to viewing area beautiful view of falls from there. We walked the nice steps closer and got an even better view. Loved the visit.

USDA Forest Service still lists Whitewater Falls as closed. Is it open or did you walk around the barricade to an area not normally open to the public?

The stairs at Upper Whitewater Falls were destroyed during the wild fires. I believe it will be a long time before this area will be reopened.
