Neither my wife nor I are particularly interested in old motor cars but this museum is truly wonderful. We spent far more time than we anticipated. Many of the exhibits are uniquely Australian rather than just old American, European or Japanese cars. This museum is suitable for all age groups.

This is an absolutely fantastic display of automobiles and motorcycles past and present. Well worth the cheap admission fee of $9. A "must see" in York! Highly recommended

What an interesting Museum, right in the main Street of York. A definite for vintage & classic car enthusiasts. The very rare 1919 Australian Big 6 Tourer would be the highlight. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

So interesting this place is, even when you're not a huge car enthusiast. We spent a while in here, there is so much to see and so important to this little town. I can't imagine how much this collection is worth, so many rare vehicles are stored here, so many little collectables as well as big! Do not drive through... More

Well what I can about this surprise pack it without spoiling it. I really enjoyed the great range of cars and was not excepting to see such a great collection. The price of the ticket is well worth in my opinion. The incredible collection of cars, motorbikes and even electric bikes from bygone days was huge. I became so absorbed... More

Great museum with a reasonable entry fee. Very early cars and some rare ones - all well preserved! We spent a while there - there's lots to see and read.

An interesting museum in a small country town, with some superb vehicles. Well worth a visit, spend time looking at Australian oddities such as the Leyland P76 and the Valiant ute from Crocodile Dundee. There are also some interesting Uk and European cars from the early days of motoring. It is a pity there are not more visitors but this... More
