Today was my first visit to the Salisbury National Cemetery. I went there to lead a committal service for a veteran friend of mine who had recently died. The Grounds reminded me of Arlington National Cemetery with countless marble headstones of veterans who had died...More

In a well kept setting, one can walk the paths and ponder the sacrifice men and women made to help preserve our freedom.

Certainly an impressive sight with the identical gravestones stretching as far as the eye can see. The whole site is immaculately maintained, and it is possible to search for a specific grave if you are unsure of it's location.

A typical national cemetery that is beautiful and very well kept... Small entrance for the facility and off the beaten path for many unless your from the Salisbury area.

So very impressed with the care taken with the graves and the entire grounds. Lots of history here. Impressive that veterans from all wars since 1861 are buried here.

Beautiful cemetery for Veterans, rolling hills and meadows, very peaceful. Dates back to the Civil War. Hope to rest there someday.

It's a place of solitude. I visit when I need the experience. It's usually quiet. Watch out for geese messes!

Came from Oregon to give my respects to the step-mother of an old girlfriend. Beautiful cemetery...and then the train goes by.
