We stumbled across this gorgeous mansion and spent quite a few hours walking around admiring the grandeur and history. Not what we expected in the middle of nowhere. A definite must.

I hadn't visited for many years, so it was great to see this fantastic historical home again. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms had beautiful antiquities collected by the Mortlock family. Well worth an hour to visit this fabulous building.

Outstandingly presented and preserved piece of Clare Valley history. Lady in the entrance was informative and polite, and gave us a good amount of her time to answer our questions.
