Admittedly Kalleske was on my list of wineries to visit and we did. Nice setting in Greenock and the Cellar Door is well placed in the village.

Hosted by Alex, we had a fantastic tasting, followed by a divine produce platter. Enough food to get us through the day, and you can purchase a full glass after your tasting to drink with the food.
Great old vine reds.

We were a group of 7, on our arrival Alex was quite busy, but didn’t get stressed about a large group coming unannounced. She suggested we took a table and she would come out to us for tastings.

If you’re willing to leave Tanunda in the Barossa, then I recommend travelling the extra 15 minutes to Kalleske Wines.
