Zema Estate is a small family winery located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. The Zema family is proud of the traditional techniques they employ in their vineyard; dry land viticulture and hand pruning are two such practices, which help to produce intense, rich fruit of the highest quality. The Cellar Door is open seven days from 9am to 5pm and the winery welcomes visitors.

Zema Estate is a long standing winery in the Coonawarra. A Cellar Door tasting will rewards you with great Cabernets and some nice Shiraz. Well worth the visit

Visited here the other week after a couple of days in Penola. We were the only ones there so got great service from the lady behind the counter who was lovely to chat too. Fantastic reds and value for money. Definitely one to revisit

This is one of the standout wineries in Coonawarra. Truly great reds made by Greg Clayfield never fail to impress. The value for money here is very impressive. If you're here on the right occasion the food - homemade arancini and rigatoni pasta sauce are worth the detour.

Unlike some wineries in the Coonawarra, Zema provides great wines at very good value. Service is unpretentious and welcoming. It punches well above its weight in comparison to its big name neighbours. Also pop into Bellwether Wines for a unique tasting experience with wines from other districts as well as Coonawarra on offer. Bellwether and Zema are two local gems.

6 of us headed off to the tasting tables on offer in the Coonawarra and Zema was one of 6 we chose to try. The reds are very good and well worth the trip.

This is the winery that I gladly recommend to friends when they ask for the name of a great winery from this wine area. They make wine that is continually top shelf vintage after vintage. Bravo

When compared with the bigger neighbors, this is a small winery but makes good wines and has good and friendly service. This winery is a must to visit if when traveling the Coonawarra region. Bought some nice reds there.

When measured against their giant neighbours, this is a small, quaint little place that delivers good wine and good, friendly service.
