We were only passing through Eden on our way elsewhere, but luckily found time to visit this amazing little museum. Very well laid out, very informative. Helpful staff. It really is worth taking the time to visit, and read about the early whaling industry.

Well presented museum focussing on the history of Eden and its old whaling industry. The staff were friendly and very helpful. However, we left feeling glad this lovely town is no longer home to an industry responsible for the slaughter of these magnificent animals.

This is a great place to learn about whaling - and Old Tom - the whale who helped the whalers round up whales. It's quite fascinating, and a great place to visit. Excellent gift shop too.
