Ben Boyd Tower is about a 30min drive south of Eden - its good to combine a visit to Davidson Whaling Station at the same time as they are on the same road! Allow an extra hour if you are doing both. It is really...More

Its a small part of history, but a structure worth preserving, set in amazing forest on a very scenic clifftop. The story adds to the significance of this tower.

Very easy walk to the tower. In National Park so need to pay day fees. Tower in excellent condition and sign boards, gave a great insight into the history of the tower and surrounds. Well worth the visit. Even on the cold and windy day...More

At the end of a drive which accesses a few interesting locations. Great view from here but can't get above ground level. Useful history plaques but helps if Whale Museum visited prior.

Interesting historical site. No access to the top of the tower. Unfortunately, the ferals have visited the site, and left there mark(s). Bit of a walk from the car park.

Amazing that such a large structure built using stone from Sydney is such a difficult location. Shame about recent fire damage in surrounds but not affect the Tower.
