The scenery is incredible! When you go down the steps to the park, it is crowded, but after that the crowds thin out. There is a lot to see and the walk is full of beauty.

I was prepared to get there and not get tickets so it wasn't a surprise, but travelers beware. This is not independent traveler friendly. If you want to go here, you must use a travel agent. I took a bus from Wulingyuan city to the Grand Canyon. It took about 45 minutes. Cost was 12RMB, pretty cheap. Being an American,... More

Went in April. I was overwhelmed with -the crowd and their behaviour at the longest glass bridge and the walk thereafter thru the Grand Canyon. -The security check at the entrance is kind of weird. We were being told no bags is allowed but there's ppl carrying haversack. 2 person carrying similar size camera:- one was gained entry. The other... More

This is China, not America. The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie is, I'm sorry to report, way less tourist friendly than the Grand Canyon in America. It is probably more accurate to say there is no adequate tourist service at all. Trying to find accurate tourist information about how to visit the Glass Bridge (without joining a noisy group tour) is... More

I went there in the morning. There are time section for it. Check the time before you purchase the tickets. They also mention that selfie stick is not allowed but I have hidden it under my jacket and went inside anyway. It was really high. I went during the winter when it's not crowded and you can take as many... More

The Canyons are very beautiful and combined with the glass bridge tour makes a half day trip here in Zhangjiajie. The bridge is normally crowded so I recommend you to come early.

Great slide in the nature. Glass bridge is slightly overrated and has lots of limitations for entry. No thermal flasks no big cameras aka dslrs. They actually have scanners before entry. So best to enter with a compact and nothing else to avoid delays. If you intend to have your big cameras for the Grand Canyon, you need to deposit... More

Didn't plan on this visit except I wanted to see the glass bridge. We couldn't reserve the tickets a day in advance on-line for the bridge, as mandated, because we are not Chinese citizens. After hearing different versions about ticket reservation from different sources, we decided to join a tour group & let the agent book our tickets. What a... More

This attraction is combined with the Glass bottom bridge. You can buy both ticket at booth (non Chinese). At glass bottom bridge, they don't allow camera or backpack. You need to keep them at "luggage keeper" before entering the place. To retrieve the baggage, you have to return back after boat ride. Since the trail is one-way, ended by boat... More

Walk down , along and go by boat to the end. There you can take the bus back home. If You want to visit the glass bottom bridge and have a camera you have a problem because you have to leave camera at the entrance, means you have to return from canion to entrence to get it back. I was... More
