Some interesting displays of wildlife, and lots of gift items with wildlife themes. Prices very reasonable, too.

If you enjoy wildlife & nature trails then this is a must see. We saw turtles (there's a turtle pond), egrets, gulls of course & other water fowl. The trails are well kept & an easy walk.

Stopped on our trip from hatteras to kitty hawk. Restrooms were closed. There were port-a-potties. They were beyond needing to be emptied and no toilet paper. We’d been here before and everything was clean and nice. Not today

This is a nice wide sandy beach. Free parking and not crowded. No vehicles are allowed to the north. This beach is much nicer than those in Rodanthe and not far away.
