Tiger World is an animal conservation and educational center dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation of exotic animals. We are open to the public for educational guided tours and walkabout self-guided tours. Tiger World is a different kind of Zoo. Our tours personally guide visitors throughout the preserve learning about each animal. You see them in a natural setting and have the opportunity to observe them playing, swimming, eating, sleeping, and interacting with their handlers.

It's not the fanciest, but they are working hard to make improvements. In just a few years, they've made major changes to give the animals the space they need The animals are primarily rescues, so i feel good about going there.

This is NOT a zoo. These are rescued/donated wild animals. They are magnificent creatures. Our daughters love big cats. They have a lot of tigers, lions, some ligers as well as other animals (bear, gibbons, baboon s, kangaroo, wolves, etc.) You can't get really close...More

What are the odds, a third animal park this year and the second in the Charlotte area. Tiger World is more like a zoo with a strong focus on cats. I loved their collection of white tigers, begal tigers, jaguars, panthers. As with any zoo,...More

This place is great. Some of the exhibits were not the most of their natural habitats but must had poke t of shade. Al animals were well feed and had clean water. Lots to see.

I've wanted to check this place out for years - I finally got my chance and I was pleasantly surprised! We bought the feed but I would not recommend spending the extra money for it since there are very few animals that can eat it...More

Paved way. The park has updated, through a donation, paved walkways which makes it easier for strollers and wheelchairs. Not all are paved so some areas are still rough going. Love going there to see the animals.
