Our family had a wonderful afternoon together canoeing and using Stand Up Paddelboards on the lake! It seemed we almost had the lake to ourselves. Very quiet and tranquil. Lots of bird watching.

It was still warm enough to swim! Had a great time on a pontoon boat just relaxing and going around the lake. Great views of the mountains surrounding the lake. Will definitely be back!

We stopped at the public beach and had a wonderful swim. Lovely views, clear water, and to start with we were only people there. Note there is nowhere to refill water or get food at the beach, but there are picnic tables.

Drove along the lake. Beautiful views. Many stopping places including a beach where you can bbq. No overly populated. Nice big bugs.

Lake Santeetlah is a beautiful crystal clear lake. The shoreline is stunning with the mirror reflextion of deep green pine trees....Rock cropping's are in abundance. Its beauty is a good well kept secret.

Yes, the lake is crystal clear and you can see 10feet down without any help. I think it would be a great adventure.
