If you are looking for the best place to learn and ride horses you most certainly want to go to Dead Broke Farm! The horses are all very calm and know the trails like the back of their own hoof! I highly recommend this farm...More

Had a great time at Dead Broke Farm today with my beautiful wife Mary Baker. We got to ride Jenny and Handsome. Was told they are inseparable, which was nice because so are we. The horses did great, the trail was beautiful, and Carla and...More

Thanks for the awesome feedback!. And we can help with a horse for your wife, but if you're not up for that just yet, we do have a frequent rider program where you can buy 5 and get one free.

First the good part. My Grandgirls enjoyed their 30 minute ride on the trails and the horses looked as though they were well fed, that's about it for the positive. The place is aptly named. There's no sign that they could or would afford a...More

That's odd. The camp kids loved our goat, Goatmeal. He is mentioned in several reviews, but we've decided to find him a new home because he's getting older and beginning to act and smell like a Billy Goat. I find it offensive that you suggest...More

Owners insisted that a trail ride in a large group is the same as an individual lesson. Needless to say I did not put my 7 year old grandson, who has never before been on a horse, participate. Owner promised refund due to "misunderstanding" -...More

We do offer private lessons, but apparently you didn't want to pay the higher cost. And I've never spoken to you, so I didn't commit to a refund due to your misunderstanding. We don't even offer lessons anymore unless someone has a previously purchased gift...More

Yes, that's correct. They do offer 1 hour and 2 hour trail rides, but the child must be 6 years old to ride alone for the trail rides, so that's how my 4 year old ended up on the pony ride since she wanted her own horse.
