My husband and I really enjoyed our Downtown Durham food tour. We were not familiar with all the restaurants in Durham so we thought this was a good way to sample several and we were not disappointed. Our favorite was definitely Viceroy although we also liked Taberna Tapas and Basan. We will definitely be back for full meals at these... More

We had a wonderful time sampling some great food and discovering some outstanding restaurants in Raleigh. Rye's in the Marriott City Center served us yummy shrimp and grits and fried green tomato using herbs and honey grown on their rooftop. Also excited to learn about their great lunch specials. Taverna Agora on Hillsborough has the most incredible rooftop dining area... More

Good spread of restaurants. Favorite stop was Pie Pushers! The eggplant fries were delicious. Other food tours I've done have had more history incorporated during the walking portion. The places where the restaurant owner or staff didn't talk made it a bit lacking. Not sure how it would have gone if we hadn't been with a group of friends to... More

My husband and I did the Durham food tour. I scheduled it as a birthday gift to myself. We had a great guide in Karen. The couples that accompanied us were wonderful. This was an awesome Way to try several different restaurants in one day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone!

A pleasant way for a food lover to spend an afternoon: sampling food and drink at five different downtown restaurants, meeting the chefs for an overview of the restaurant's approach to food, and some walking and Raleigh history to go with it. Enjoyed it.

What is not good about sampling a variety of great food, sampling specialty drinks and wines? Every location is a culinary surprise. The short walk in between only makes room for the next food stop. Great informative guide and a great time. This is our fourth Tour and I am sure I will be back.

We really enjoyed this tour of Downtown Raleigh, Living on the outskirts of Raleigh it was delightful to get to know some restaurants that we otherwise never would have tried. We are really looking forward to going to 18 Seaboard. We loved their menu and can't wait to try some of their other dishes. The chef came out and spoke... More

As a single person, I was slightly hesitant to sign up but so glad I did! We went to 3 very distinct restaurants and 2 great bars - all are places I would visit again. The tour was relaxed and encouraged folks to mingle and talk as you walked between venues - so part of the fun was meeting the... More

I had previously done the Raleigh food tour which was excellent. Having moved to the area recently I learned about alot of new places to go with friends and family. My favorite place was the Little Dipper, a fondue place and I actually made a reservation to go back to celebrate my mother's birthday! I highly recommend this walking food... More

The Triangle Food Tour was a blast! The three hour duration was just right. Each visit was unique. I particularly enjoyed Rye Bar & Southern Kitchen and 18 Seaboard. Portions offered were quite generous and a number of cocktails were offered as well. I loved talking with the chefs and owners of some of the places. The decor and art... More
