Pinehurst is, quite simply, a wonderful golf destination. It has what feels like an unlimited set of choices to enjoy the game. To begin with, there are the courses. I believe there are nine; we played #4, #2, and #8.
#4 has just been redone...More
We played #4 on the reopening weekend. I loved #4 before...like many members, nervous of what it be like. Thank you Pinehurst Resort and Gil Hanse. It is even better! Not as many domed greens! Gil doesn’t penalize you in the green and sand placement....More
Great Service and food in the Members Club. Top Self all the way. Very nice and helpful Hostess for seating arrangements. The Waiter did a outstanding job explaining the specials and the options for substituting sides. Great evening with many little extras including the location...More

Courses are generally high quality however they change rates in early March. When temps are below 50, not sure a course is worth $200 to play just because a calendar changed. The paint the fairways to make them green.
Played Pinehurst #2. with my grandson on December 30th. --warmest day of the weekend -- 54° . Enjoyed playing with a father and son from Georgia. First time I've had the opportunity to play the course since it's restoration and in my mind this is...More
