Definitely take some time out of your day to pop into the archives. Great overview of history of Pinehurst. Curator came over and answered our questions. You will to be disapointed.

It was recommended we stop at the Pinehurst Library to visit the Tufts Archives. We stopped and were not disappointed. If you like visiting places with good local history, this is a good spot right in beautiful downtown Pinehurst, North Carolina!

There are not a lot of locals who lives in the area but for someone who remembers the 50's these archives are a view into my memories. Stop in to learn what life was life before it became so popular as a retirement community.

Great place to spend a few hours, especially if you enjoy golf. You can tell the volunteers really enjoy their work. They can answer anything.

Fantastic place to look at golf history. We stayed for over an hour and could have stayed longer. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming.
