This is a treasure in the heart of the Sandhills. Not only are the flowers, and trees wonderful the sculpture is also beautiful. Any time of the year is a good time to go to this garden.

I've walked and enjoyed spending time and money both at the NYC Bronx Botanic and the Brooklyn. I was also disappointed by the small one in Asheville. Pleasantly surprised at the size, layout, execution and content of this convenient, FREE garden, space. Too bad the...More

Do not miss this hidden gem! What a fabulous garden experience. Many different sections and paths to explore. Most are shaded by tall trees so you are not always in the heat of the sun. We were visiting my Dad and decided it would be...More

The gardens are lovely for a stroll. Especially nice from April-May while the cherry trees, dogwoods, and azaleas are blooming! There is a constant change out of annuals in the back bricked garden so something different to see each season.

If you are in the Pinehurst area, be sure and stop at these gardens. The students at SCC maintain them and even in Winter, it's a very nice presentation of trees and plants. And, they have wonderful paths for a very nice walk.
