The course was in great shape. Expect long rounds, inconsistent staff and a course that punishes good shots at times. Some holes you can get at, others you hit great shots and are penalized. It’s not a beautiful course but it has history. I also...More

We play #2 regularly and it is a challenge, but so much fun now that it was restored to its original landscape. Wire grasses, waste areas, and the elimination of many rough areas make it interesting. Eat at the "Deuce" restaurant that overlooks the 18th...More

The whole pine hurst facility is great.. I played five of the nine courses (7,9,8,5 and 2). Many of those courses were beautiful lush and enjoyable. No. 2 was by far the worst. Very gimmicky with the crowned greens and punitive waste area not to...More

Played #2 several times this past weekend (as well as 7 and 8). Our group was understandably excited to check in for our rounds, and looking forward to play. For some reason the man behind the desk (#2) was not only incredibly slow and not...More

Yes the history of golf events on this course is iconic, but for the average golfer it may be a nightmare. Endless waste bunkers and crazy crowned greens make for a very difficult round. Very worthwhile experience, makes one in awe of the pros who...More

In a recent four day -four rounds golf trip to Pinehurst we golfed #2 twice. Our party of MNmen ( for Minnesota) numbered about 30. The consensus was that it was over priced and over crowded being an Iconic Golf Mecca that it is. The...More

Had a chance to join a group of golfers going to Pinehurst resort. Played No 9, No 8, No7, and No2 courses. No 9 was designed by Jack Nicolas and many holes dogleg right to left which I really liked. Course condition was very good....More

This is, of course, one of the most famous golf courses in America. It is all we had hoped for. Our group of two couples enjoyed the course and its challenges. Walk with caddies and enjoy this bucket list experience.

Great course, gives you a whole new appreciation for what the Pros do when they play the US Open here! Better have your short game in tune before coming here, greens are fast and bunkers scary! Awesome experience and a must play if you visit...More

Number 2 if you’ve never played it is best enjoyed walking with a caddie. Be advised it does cost more to have a caddie and be prepared to tip, but their course knowledge is extremely helpful. Number 8 is not a course you... More
