It was a great Saturday walking around Old Fort. We loved the murals. We plan to do a driving tour to capture the murals of NC. The woman at the info center was very helpful with planning future trips.

The museum has done a good job of bringing many old things together and spotlighting them in such a way that it is educational and enjoyable. They have a couple of very old houses open for people to see how people lived in the 1800s....More

We visited during the Fall festival.. Many vendors and food trucks were there... It was a fun trip! Loved the apple fritters!

A lot if history here and we really enjoyed it. Its not very large but there is alot of good information and displays. The kids loved the cabin and outdoor stage.
