A lovely hiking trail with some gorgeous flora. The beach was a nice size and had spectacular views. Biting flies were a slight problem the day we went - but that depends on whichever way the wind blows.

Springers point is a magical 10 minute walk through a small forest of live oaks which opens up to a beautiful beach. A must do if you’re on Ocracoke Island

We walked through the preserve to watch the sun set. Gorgeous. Very quiet trail. The beach at the end on the sound side was lovely. We found shells, crabs. And watched the sun set

It was a nice little hike to a cool soundside beach. Water was nice to swim in at high tide being clear. There was a lot of consecutive days of rain and the trail in sections was flooded so needed water shoes or barefoot. Scouted...More

Nice spot. You have to carry all your stuff in; and there is NO parking. You have to bike in or park your car of golf cart at the Methodist church (be sure to leave them a tip if you do this)
