Great Layout, Greens should be better

Love the course layout. Each shot requires a fair but precise shot. Not much straying. I like that. I was told that by the beginning of November the greens would be up to... read more

Love the course layout. Each shot requires a fair but precise shot. Not much straying. I like that. I was told that by the beginning of November the greens would be up to snuff speed and playability wise. Wrong. Way too soft and slow. Nothing like having to shoot darts on pitch and run shots. Hopefully they get better because... More

Thank you very much for playing Leopard's Chase golf Club. We certainly agree it is a world class layout! Regarding the speed of the greens, we must apologize if they were not as quick as you were expecting. The brutally hot and dry conditions of the late summer and fall (interrupted only by Hurricane Matthew's quick passing) have made it... More

There was a collegiate tournament going on at lions paw so the big cats guys asked me if i would be interested in playing leopard chase instead. Since the Chase is considered a better course than the Paw ( and it is ) i thought I would give it a try. NOW - This is the second time I played... More

Played this track in October of 2015 and then again this year in September. The greens showed a bit of stress from the summer season but were still in good shape. Fairways were near perfect and dry enough to allow us off the cart path. The course is not terribly long but has some tricky holes on the back nine... More

Great layout. Nice staff. Tough bunkers. Greens were woefully slow. No beverage cart the whole back nine and once on the front.

Thank you very much for your comments! it is only through such constructive feedback that we can address our recent guests' issues and concerns and therefore improve our operation and enhance the experience of future guests. You are correct in your assessment of the slow greens. Leopard's Chase is one of the very few area courses to boast of bentgrass... More

layout and views of the course a very good to great, the issue was the greens were soooo soggy that putting was a big challenge. the grounds keeper is challenged trying to keep bent grass green from fungus and heat of the area. fans on all the green that were being loaded with water and not cut or rolled so... Called at noon and got a tee time immediately. Guys at the course are really nice. Course was in good shape. I love the challenge of this course. The clubhouse I believe is temporary, but it has everything I need! I have played this course three times and I love the layout and the course designer know how to place... More

Have played many courses in Myrtle Beach, and Leopards Chase is one of the best. I play this course at least once every trip to Myrtle. Love the tract, and it is beautiful, but its also tough. Bring your "A" game and enjoy. Staff is very, very friendly and accomodating. This course and Tigers Eye are two of my ALWAYS... More

Played all of the Big Cats and would state that Leopard's Chase is the best layout with challenging tees for any level. The greens are in below average shape I would assume due to the high humidity. The Pro Shop is well stocked. Make sure you play this one when playing the Big Cats.
