We took the trolley tour a week ago in New Bern and it is an awesome way to visit the city. The trolley is air conditioned and comfy. There were a couple of stops, one at the cemetery. Carol Ann is full of local knowledge...More

Tour guide was very informative and nice. 90 minute ride, got out once at the cemetery. Only negative was that the a/c not working properly and most of us were sweating on the trolley.

I'm sure it depends on who your tour guide is, but ours was knowledgeable and interesting. He had information about New Bern that was . . . "WHO KNEW?" Worth the money.

This is a fantastic way to see and learn about the Town of New Bern. It was a hot day and walking was not an inviting option. Our guide was well informed on his History of New Bern. The 90 minute tour was interesting and...More

Described as a one and a half hour trolley tour, we thought this would be a good way to learn about the historic downtown. Unfortunately, there was way too much detail (even for a history buff like myself) and not enough touring. The bus (not...More

This seemed to be primarily an old homes tour, and I was hoping for more history - a fair and balanced history. Some of the history I did hear of was with a lamentable bias. The guide told us the story of a prominent New...More

The tour guide focused mostly on the history of the elite whites of the city. New Bern has been majority black in its history, but there was no drive through of black neighborhoods or discussion of black historic dwellings. And who built all those big...More

We enjoyed our historic trolley tour. The tour guide and driver were pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. I would recommend this tour to those new to the area.

The tour started out a little slow, but as the man begin speaking more about the history, it became extremely fascinating. He had a wealth of knowledge to share. He pointed out many homes and their history. We visited a cemetery and provided great insight...More

I have been to New Bern many times before. Not until I took this tour did I know the full history of New Bern. The Trolley can pick you up wherever your hotel or Bed and Breakfast is located but it also has a stopping...More

I think it was either $15 or $18 a person. Can't remember exactly but it was less than $20 a person.

It's not hop on or hop off, the tour is about 90 minutes. It's a great tour. At the end they will let some people get off the trolley in town while others may go back to the main stop.

We also stayed at the Marriott. Trolley stops there I believe. But the downtown area is small and quite walkable. Highly recommend 247 Craven. We had an excellent dinner there.
