Beautiful pier.

The pier was in walking distance from the Surf Side Hotel, Found many sea shells there. The pier is nice to walk out on and sit for a while. Many people fish here.

Don't spend as much time here as I would like now that I have two small girls but in the past I lived on this pier from sunrise to sunset. Great fishing depending on the time of the year, wind direction,etc.. The staff is always helpful with any questions and are aways ready to update visitors with what's biting that... More

Really enjoy eating breakfasts here because the food is well cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. A big plus is eating of the back deck while watch the sunrise start the day.

We enjoy a good breakfast here whenever we're in the Nags Head/Kill Devil Hills area. We really enjoy their pancake breakfast, but they also have various other delicious meals. It's fun to sit in the enclosure on the pier and watch the activities out the large windows. Even though it was storming on our last visit we stayed safe and... More

I fished off this pier when I was 6 years old and it always brings back many fond memories. It has always been a favorite spot and has weathered many a 'cane.

Cheap steamed shrimp, a bottle of Wild Pony White wine, what more could you ask for after a day on the beach.

Nags Head Pier is open *almost* year round, which is rare on the Outer Banks! Once you pass through the bait and tackle shop, you can go straight ahead to the pier (for a couple bucks), or turn right to a nice little indoor cafe type place, or turn left for Capt Andy's indoor/outdoor dining and drinks right over the... Staff are very pleasant. We set up scope and saw many different birds. Staff was interested in what we saw, asking us questions about species and the numbers. Great pier!

I don't fish, but after eating at the restaurant my son and I ventured out to the tip of the pier to see what it was all about. We saw people constantly catching fish. In the span of 5 minutes we saw about 10 fish being caught. Somewhat exciting for an activity that is normally about relaxing. The pier itself... More

Enjoyed a recent visit to OBX and planted ourselves on the beach every day by this structure. It does cost money to walk out on the pier so we just walked around the areas that we were allowed. Would be a great place to have breakfast or lunch because the view of the ocean is nice.
