Cherokee Cellars Winery and Wine Tasting Room is located in downtown Murphy, North Carolina. We source our grapes from Georgia and North Carolina vineyards. It is these vineyards that are the foundation for our award winning wines. Once we find just the right grapes the winemaking is done on site at the winery in downtown Murphy. Come by Cherokee Cellars Winery and taste these award winning local wines.

The owners are personable and hard working. Wine was good so we added two bottles to our travels. Good stop with great folks.

Stopped in for a wine tasting - nice selection and the wines are wonderful. Owners are knowledgeable and have great personalities, and place is really comfortable. There's a nice little gift shop, too. Stop in - you'll love it!

This winery is in town and not on a vineyard. You pick the 5 wines you want to try and mark them off on a plastic menu with a magic marker. Tasting fee is $5.00. You do not keep the glass. Wine is very good!
