My wife and I decided to stop here on our way from Nashville to Williamsburg. This town must thank Andy Griffith every day for putting them on the map! It's a cute little downtown, quite "touristy". Its good for about an hour walk thru. The...More

Most all stores were open with plenty of parking, merchandise and the most friendly people. So much is captured in an old fashioned good downtown site. Just so nice to feel so good about traditional priorities

The downtown area is quaint and beautiful. Many locations have not changed through the years. This town is a great tribute to the Andy Griffith Show.

Got to see a car cruise with old cars, hot rods, vintage cars and sports cards. DJ playing music and pretty busy with visitors and locals. Nice weather. Everyone was pleasant. Stop and try the Moonshine Ice Cream. Great time!
