Bill opened up the shop because he was around. His dad was “Floyd” cut hair for years but Bill was a school teacher so he cut one hair! It was a lovely visit.

We were a little disappointed when all we heard from the owner was about the "spirit of Andy" in the barbershop. Sort of unbelievable to say the least.

hubby and i took our two grandbabies, 4 months and 7 months old on their first vacation. we decided on Mayberry, both babies had their pics taken in the barber's chair, everyone could not have been nicer

Wonderful local people inside.Met the son of the actor who played Floyd on the Andy Griffith Show. A must if you're in Mt Airy.
