The original owners son continues his father's legacy. Be ready for some down home story telling and a pretend haircut with photos. I believe a real haircut us available on a limited schedule. I'd call ahead for that. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We spent at least a half hour chatting.

Stood out front to take picture and before you could say Floyd- the owner invited us in to take picture and see all the pictures and we listened to stories. Had to buy the great tee shirt!!! And for the next two days when we walked by he waved....that is local small town 👍🏼

The lady barber was friendly and informative. She invited us to take pictures in Floyd's barber chair.

Went in like most to see the shop and maybe take a picture and walked out thinking that we had experienced Americana at its best, What a joy to hear Bill tell stories of the past and share his love for his father and passion that his dad had shared with so many people before his passing. Bill wants to... More

Stopped in for a photo or two and had a great conversation with the owner. Neat to hear first-hand stories .

I was attending Mayberry days and decided to get a haircut at Floyds barber shop. Lana did a great job and there were some real "characters" as well. It is an oldtime barber shop that will bring back memories for men that remember "real" barbershops. Well worth the stop.

I thought this might just be a tourist trap but I found a great haircut and great memory at the same time. $10 haircut plus $5 tip for the best haircut I have had in years. Lots of fun too.

Stopped in to take a look at all the photos on the wall and the old time barber shop accessories. Didn't get a haircut there but it was a nice atmosphere of days gone by.

My dad really likes to get his haircut here. A trip down memory lane and a good haircut at the same time! He not only got his haircut, but we took pictures and he chatted with the barbers for quite a while
