It was a good museum of the history of the area, although disappointed by their representation of the Indigenous people, especially since the title of that small exhibit was "The Vanished People." We're not vanished, we're still here.

Great museum of local history. Don't miss the view from the clock tower. Wonderful 360-degree of surrounding mountains and the town.

This museum works very hard at bringing exciting exhibits to our town. The space is kept beautifully and changed exhibits ever so often. "Mayberry" history is only a small part of the great discoveries you'll find here.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and organization of this museum. There are several collections covering the history of the area, living as an indigenous person, as a settler, as a farmer growing tobacco, railroad history and a variety of child friendly exhibits, too....More
