Stopped by the vineyards on a Saturday afternoon which surprisingly wasn't very crowded. The vineyards are nice to look at over the rolling hillside. The building looks rather new and is attractive. The tasting room (at the front) seemed a little small for the size of the building; maybe there is another area near the back. There were probably a... More

We were RVing nearby and stopped in to enjoy some of the local brews. In that aspect, this is a great stop as they offer their own wines and also beer from their Brewery, Skull Camp Brewing. My wife is a Cabernet drinker, and she tried a flight of their wines but said she didn't really find one she liked.... More

Stumbled upon this gem of a winery/brewery while my husband and I were tending family business. We prefer the slightly sweeter side of wine so Skull Camp wines fit us well. Also their brew was quite exceptional too. After our tasting we meandered to the back terrace....I was so very taken with the view! Absolutely gorgeous and so very peaceful!!... More

We stayed at the house right next door on the winery property. Beautiful view, well appointed accommodations for 6-8 and enjoyed our wine tasting. Perfect setting and weather for our reunion - 50 years after we met at Carolina.

Went on a Saturday, they had a band on the patio and we're all set up for a night of Camping in the Vineyards. Great idea! Never seen that before and it looks like it would be a lot of fun. Did a wine tasting. Then tried some of their Beer"Skull Camp" Would return again!

If you are "wine tasting" in the Yadkin Valley, make sure to go here for wine tasting. We stopped at Round Peak with another couple while "wine tasting" our way through the valley; we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff is personable and helpful, and the wines are very nice! We really like some of their... More

The vineyards, the winery building, the lawn, gazebo, views of the mountains are all super! We like to go in the summer when they have free music, you bring a picnic, buy a beer or sangria, do a wine-tasting, and watch the kids play on the lawn. Last summer we had a large family gathering, and rented one of the... More

Spent the day there for music festival. Most of the bands were very good even though they didn't play traditional country and mountain music. The mountain view was fabulous. Pet friendly place. The winery only sells wine and has wine tasting on regular basis but they had a BBQ for the festival. The cost to get into the festival was... More

We visited Round Peak Vineyard about a year ago and had a lovely time, so we returned with out of town company for this music fest and were very disappointed. We first tried to sit on the shaded patio, but the music was so loud that you could not have a conversation. We moved as far away as possible to... More
