Old North State Winery started as a cooperative in 2002 and has since evolved into a winery owned by two families with one vision. Our vineyards were established on farms that have been in our families for generations. We hope you enjoy the culmination of our dreams, our devotion to our farmland, and our passion for our wines produced at Old North State Winery. Most of our wines start out as luscious wine grapes grown on Yadkin Valley North Carolina family farms. We are the Old North State Winery, Inc. located in Mount Airy, in the headwaters of the Yadkin Valley AVA. Wine, beer and fine foods are our passion and our legacy.

When we arrived there were teenagers crawling on the ground. Our table was near the bar and people were standing around us most of the time. But the waiter was good and vegan options good enough. Overall good place.

We were really excited to eat dinner here. Our food was good, my husband's steak was undercooked, but our waitress never came back to the table to see if it was. He ate it and it tasted very good, just not the way he generally...More

Visited this place by chance on a mini tour of the area wineries. My wife and I are from Northern California, so every winery we visit is instantly stacked against the Napa/Sonoma legends. By the time we got to Old North State, we had already...More

This restaurant was not open on a Monday evening even when it was listed to be and our B&B host had said it would be. Very disappointing.

This place keeps getting better and better. We stopped in for some food and drinks and we were not disappointed. The 2 young ladies ( a young red head and brunette) at the bar were very helpful and friendly. Everybody that was working really seemed...More
