My husband and I took our 2 teenage daughters. We did the 2hr ride with the stop at the mine, which was pretty cool. I don't think you will find much in gem stones, but it was a neat little cave. Our guide was awesome and very nice. Awesome photo opportunities of the mountain side.

The price was fantastic, we went up and around a hill with very pretty views. Overall a pretty typical trail ride but a nice way to break up a vacation.

My wife and I take a trail ride every year on our anniversary . This year we chose Asheville nc for our destination . We drove 40 minutes from Asheville to reach our destination . Our trail guide Orin was a real cowboy from Montana , with a quirky sense of humor and fun personality. The ride was relaxing and... More

While the group was a little larger (about 12) than I would have liked, this 2 hour trial ride was superb. The views around the mountains were spectacular. The trails were well-maintained and our guides were well-mannered and eager to be of help. "Turbo" was the guide who we got to know best, and he shared alot about the history... More

My youngest daughter has been itching to go horseback riding for quite some time but most places require you to be 9. I decided I would look into a trip when we were to come to Asheville for Spring break. After a quick google search and some great Trip advisor reviews, I decided to book online with Sandy Bottom Trail... More

I had planned a birthday trip for my boyfriend and we decided to fill some free time with a trail ride.....what a wonderful decision that was!!!
