Marshall is not far from Asheville. Blue Heron runs a tight ship, from reservations to equipment to safety checks to photography. We watched a safety film moderated by an excellent teacher, Sandy, then got in our gear. I had foolishly worn earrings and rings (first timer) and the counter ladies were really nice in encouraging me to lock them in... More

We really love seeing families enjoying themselves on the river. Multiple generations are not uncommon with everybody smiling and enjoying each others company. Today a gentleman came rafting with us who is 81. He even jumped off the rock! What an inspiration. Thanks for coming down the river with us! We'd love to see you again. More

My family and I did the calm rafting trip, these people made the trip fun for everyone. My husband has back issues and they offered a kayak for my teenage son. He had a blast! This tour group knows their business and customers needs. Very impressed and will use them again! A huge thumbs up and highly recommend!!

We visited with friends who have done the white water rafting in the area before. We were very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff and the cleanliness of the facility. The river rafting was a lot of fun! Our group ranged from 8-50+ year olds and we all really enjoyed it. We will definitely go back!!

They give you a few opportunities to get out of the boat; once to jump off a 12 ft cliff and a second time to swim near rapids. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome experience. And being a first... More
