Great for anyone who can follow instructions and listen (so, not my 2-year old who got to hang out in the parking lot with dad). Worth the price of admission!

My 18 and 19 year old and I had never visited a cavern before. We've always found them to be amazing. This tour only takes roughly 30 minutes. The stream usually contains trout and crawfish, but, our guide informed us that an otter had gotten in a few weeks prior and ate everything except for one young trout and one... More

The caverns were a must see. Our tour guide was dry but very funny. It was our first time inside a cavern and it was a great learning experience. I'd do it again!!! From there, we went to the falls and went hiking. It's pretty close and worth the time.

It was better as a child. Corny jokes for days apparently is the true gift of these tour guides. Pro tip: when it's three adults only...you can talk to us like adults. Cavern the is available for walking is only half of the actual Cavern. Lots of safety here which good because it's pretty wet. It's only 52 degrees in... More

This cavern is a must see and just quite educational as well as incredible. The rock formations are gorgeous and hard to believe. Some millions and billions of years old. Just amazing to try to imagine. Cute gift shop at the end too. Nothing strenuous and cameras allowed. Super friendly folks.

We took our kids(10 and 8) to the mountains for the first time and had to take them to Linville Caverns. It is amazing to go inside the mountain and see what nature has done. Parking is a pain and there always seems to be a line but the wait is not bad at all. Well worth your time.

We went with 4 of us all over the age of 25 and bought a ticket to see the inside of the caverns. It was very neat and a cool experience, literally. However, I feel as if the tour could have been cut just a little bit shorter. It takes about 30 mins. total but that is about 5-10 minutes... More

The tour of Linville Caverns is not as long as some other cave tours that I've taken, but it's still an interesting one! It's a relatively easy trek with minimal climbing. Standing over the bottomless pool was pretty intimidating considering you're standing on a metal grating, but it was still pretty awesome! We were sad to hear that the bat... More

My husband, adult daughter and I drove from Asheville, NC to see the Linville Caverns. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, along winding, rural roads. As we approached our destination, Humpback Mountain was unmistakable. This oddly-shaped mountain is the location of the caverns. We purchased our tickets in the lovely gift shop that sits on top of the... More
