We ventured out to the falls and it was beautiful! There is very little place to park along the 2 lane curvy road, no more than 6-7 cars fit into this space. The trek down to the falls is slightly perilous as well. There is...More

We drove right past this falls as the signage from the East is non existent. Parking for 6-7 cars only. Short but difficult walk down a rock and dirt path, with nothing to hold onto. Beautiful large falls that is not dependent on rain to...More

Awesome awesome awesome! From other reviews, I was thinking the guide ropes were put up by passerbys rather than someone with skill, but I was pleasantly surprised in their placement and security. Treking down river a bit was fun as well.

Google search will take you to the small parking area. Curvy road be careful. lots of rain made the climb treacherous but some good Samaratin left rope strategically placed to help. Bring a strong stick to slow your decent.

This was an awesome find thanks to Trip Advisor! It was amazing. Easy to the platform then a little ambitious. But even if you just go down to the platform it is amazing!

Soco Falls is just a few miles west of the BRP entrance, just outside of Maggie Valley, NC. It only has small signage, about a 1/2 from the pullout, so look diligently for it. The pull-out is on a curve, with gravel parking for about...More

We stopped at the waterfall and it was absolutely worth it! Getting to the platform isn’t too hard, but it’s not easy for very small children or the elderly. There is a rope where you can descend all the way down to the bottom of...More

A great Waterfall to visit! However, be sure to proceed with caution. Witnessed a few people slide much more than I'm sure they wanted to and depending on your cell service you may not have reception if something goes wrong. So please proceed with caution....More

The falls were pretty and we enjoyed. Although, it would be nice if people would respect and not liter.

Little tough to find if you're not paying attention. Tough short climb down to an observation deck that affords great views and photo opportunities.
