Have gone to many gem mines in the area and this had the best mix in the bucket for the money. Fun folksy displays of area interest in the building adjacent to the mine add to the fun.

Boys loved the visit. We had been gem mining a long time ago and wanted to recapture the fun. We took the tour and did the gift shop at Emerald Village & loved it all.

Gret place to kill some time, get some exercise Find some pretty rocks , pan for gold , look at some antiques , have some jewelry made , spend some dough

On average most people spend 2 to 3 hours here. Just to see the free exhibits in the Discovery Mill building can take an hour but costs nothing!
