We vist Grandfather Mountain each time we visit the area. The views are spectacular. The employees are very helpful. The interpretives are very well done. Don't miss this attraction.

Visiting this spectacular natural wonder since 1950 and now with all the elevator and stairs access can continue to enjoy. Swinging bridge still as majestic as ever and the views incredible on a clear sunny day. Must be sure footed to wander this area.More

If you can then I highly recommend visiting this mountain! Yes if you are afraid of heights like me youll struggle a little but so worth it! beautiful hike and absolutely amazing views.
