We had visited the old West Bend many times & always enjoyed it. The new one even more so! We didn't try the beer but did a full wine tasting & then drank two bottles by their jazzy fire pit tables. Lots of friendly folks there. Loved that it is dog friendly inside & out. Wine was good especially liked... More

Gorgeous new tasting room. We had the pleasure of having Holly as our wine tasting hostess. Very information, professional and friendly. Was dog friendly, so our two little pouches got to enjoy being spoiled as well. Wine maker is from the former Olde Mill Vineyard, which has always been a favorite of ours. So happy he is still at it... More

Westbend Vineyards and Brewery have reopened under new owners and have expanded to include the Hauser Home. The Hauser Home is a 150+ year old two story home that has been converted to a small event venue, which sets across the road from the Vineyard and production. A small meeting room (conference table with seating for 8) sets beside a... More

I really like this place. The wife liked the wine and I really liked the beer. The staff were really nice and friendly. It is also dog friendly so next visit he will be with us. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the great time!

I live only about 1/2 mile away from what was West Bend Vineyards and as such frequented the vineyard. It was one of the best in the Piedmont area when it was operational. Looking forward to when it reopens under new ownership.

Sadly, we were surprised to find that West Bend Vineyards had closed on our last trip to NC wine country. It was one of our favorites because it offered beer tastings as well as wine. Our understanding is that the vineyard is up for sale. Hopefully this lovely place will return to the Yadkin valley line up.

We loved taking guests. Welcoming staff. Good wines. One of the best dry Rieslings I've tasted. The beer option was a good addition to their offerings.

We are trying to get to all of NC wineries - at least those near the Piedmont - So when we heard that this one was closing, we decided to go and check it out before its no longer available. We tried all the wines in the tasting list, and only liked 2 of them, the rest were ok. With... More

This is my second visit and everyone in the group enjoyed the wine and beer options. For red wine drinkers I recommend the Cab Franc.

had to find someone to serve us a glass of wine. The food truck in the parking lot served good food, but based on the reputation of this vineyard, I was greatly disappointed. Now if you want some beer, they do tastings with much more gusto.
