I've been around. In Honduras, I traversed the skeleton of a pier forty feet above the water where the boards had fallen just to get out the end and jump off just do it all over again. (That's entertainment in Honduras.) So I guess I...More

The Pier is beautiful and a great place to enjoy a ice cream come and watch the waves . We enjoy watching the fisherman to see what they are catching .

Nice place for a walk but very crowded with fisherman when we went on labor day. They charge at the store if you want to fish. Saw some sharks.

I love this area. There was a market going on one time I went which was nice. There are swings near the pier so it's nice and relaxing to sit and see and hear the waves.

One of the BEST piers I have ever visited. Just love it here!! Would return time and time again. Especially enjoyed strolling the pier at night.

Check out the amazing view overlooking calm beaches and a diverse sunset from a higher vantage point. You are surrounded by some of the best restaurants the area offers. Enjoy the Pier any time of the day open 24 hours.

It was a nice day to stroll out on the pier. Lots of people fishing. Store was nice, typical beach stuff. Full bait shop at pier.

Took a stroll on the pier. Unlike neighboring Carolina Beach, Kure Beach much quieter and calmer. Several folks fishing from the pier. Very nice beach area. Many private residences in area but there was also public beach access and limited parking available.

It was nice walking on the weathered wood pier at sunrise, seeing the beautiful pelicans up close. There were more pelicans flying in the sky over the ocean along the Kure Beach horizon. The view was enchanting! We came back later, after dinner. There is...More

I had no trouble finding a parking spot on the street within close walking distance from the pier.

They told us they don't rent poles, we had to run to Walmart and get one.
