The Welcome Center is a good "Stop #1" if you're visiting the area for the very first time. It's not a very large site, although it has plenty of parking spots, so an hour should be all that you need to collect enough information to...More

It is great monument to see first century of flights showing key moments of flights. Does not take long, but was worth a stop by.

Found this by accident when on our way out of Kitty Hawk. Most stop at Wright Brother's Memorial just South, but this is another beautiful Tribute to Flight History.

This park is interesting for the history buff. It does require walking some distance to see all the information and a steep hill to walk up to the monument level. When we were there the area is under renovations which were needed. It was still...More

See first hand the struggle endured to make the first flight. I have a new respect for bicycle repair men.

You can google the hours of operation and I would say it would take a good hour or so to take pictures and look and hike the hill
