Excellent work out for six miles on well marked trails. The views were quite nice - we picnicked at one of the sights. We were greeted by "Bear", a New Foundland that lives on the trail. What a sweet dog!

I’ve lived here all my life. I never grow tired of our beautiful mountain. Can’t count the times I’ve been to the lake trail. My children love hiking the mountain. Sometimes they hike it several times a week.

I’m not sure I can answer your question. Crowders is, well, crowded. If you’re looking for privacy, you’re not going to get it here. It’s pretty active year round with hikers. You likely won’t go more than 5 to 20 minutes... More
