A very excellent collection of different stone and rocks. There is much to see and learn as you walk through. The gift shop is very reasonable.

They have some beautiful rocks and crystals. The volunteers had a lot of information to share. The kids liked picking a rock, which they then were taught to crack open to reveal the crystals inside.

Museum has a lot of interesting minerals and fossils to look at. Staff was friendly and informative. Great place to stop in.

They had well organized and informative displays of rocks from all over the globe. The staff were very eager to answer questions. We watched an entire family pick geodes and have them cracked in half. Then we couldn't resist. My husband picked a large one...More

A very small museum, but many minerals and fossils to view. The best part are the geodes. You purchase one and they'll crack it open for you. Each one is mystery treasure. Doesn't take long to tour, no entrance fees, donations accepted.

One of the favorite places we have to take young visitors. They love the geode cracking exhibit. Adults love the huge amethyst. Museum is very educationa too.

When you are in doubt, you can always google MINERAL & LAPIDARY MUSEUM to find the hours, special closings, phone numbers, directions, etc. Wednesday-Friday 1 until 5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum is closed... More
