First time boat rental and the process was easy, the crew was helpful and the experience was alot of fun. The pontoon boat was very easy to drive and our kids (5 & 7) loved cruising the lake. We stopped at one of the public islands for a picnic lunch. Our 4-hour rental was the perfect amount of time.…

Thought it would be fun to rent paddle boards one hot afternoon. We arrived at the dock and the boards in the water ready to go- how thoughtful! They gave us some ratty stinky lifejackets and handed us oars with some quick instructions about which area to paddle. I found my board super frustrating since it wasn't able to steer...the slightest movement would knock it off course. We compared this to the others in the group who could easily steer and maneuver, and found my paddle board was missing the rudder. I left my group and took it back to the dock, but was told it wasn't a problem and the issue was my steering. The guys didn't check it or give any helpful feedback- just told me it was my paddling technique. I asked for a kayak paddle in hopes this could make it easier, but told me they didn't have anything. Since rest of the group was waiting for me, I didn't push it and paddled back and kinda floated around while the others explored around the lake. When our two hours were up and we were returning them, I turned over the three paddle boards and pointed out the missing rudder compared to the others. His response was 'oh. yeah. I guess it did have a problem'…

We visited Lake Glenwood over Labor Day. We brought a boat and paid Signal to load/ unload from the water. The fee in total was only $5 more than if we did it ourselves. The folks in the store and on the dock were all helpful (and patient) with our questions. Plus their daily water equipment fees are so reasonable (eg $20 for skis or tube, etc.) Would highly recommend. …

It’s a must do for fun on the Lake. The boats were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They proved you with a handy map that shows waterfalls that empty into the lake as well as public islands that you can stop at. They also have extras, such as inter tubes and things you can add on for extra fun. The only negative we encountered was if you are a late rental and are scheduled to return the boat, after hours, we were told there would be spots left for us to tie off the boat and there wasn’t. We had to get very creative with how we docked. If anyone returned after us, I have no ideal how they handled it. Other than that. Very high marks!…
