Quiet relaxation away from it all
Jul 2018 • Family
We were looking for a high elevation campground with a lake to cool off from Hotlanta July temperatures. We found a gem in this park. It was so quiet and two of the four days we were there, we were the only campers on our side of the camp ground. There was plenty of space and the views were gorgeous. There was great beach access area a short kayak trip away. The staff was friendly and helpful. FYI there is very little to no cell reception here so come prepared. But it was a nice reprieve. The bathrooms were not fantastic but more than adequate. There was plenty to do in the area and the cute town of Cashiers is a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Stay here often. Campground is well maintained, quiet and beautiful. 24 hour staff on site. Wonderful hot showers. Great price. Lake is clean and great swimming. Love it.

Quiet campground in the middle of the woods. Pretty much a break from civilization. Would highly recommend this spot. Mountain campground

WhatA Joke
Jul 2016 • Family
We booked reservations here hoping for a nice weekend for the grand kids. Fortunately we made a preview trip to see about the RV accommodations. We were horrified! The place looked like it had been abandoned. Sites were grown over and extremely unlevel. Tent sites were on gravel parking area. We thought we would be on the lake but not so. We canceled our reservations thank god.
