Grove Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style wines. The main estate vineyards, winery, event facilities and tasting room are located just 7 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits in the the federally recognized Haw River Valley wine country, a short drive from anywhere in the Triad or Triangle. The sloping, mineral-rich estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate like Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, etc. Grapes are hand harvested and used for a limited production of 3000 cases of premium wine each year. The Grove tasting room is open noon-6pm daily for tasting, shopping or simply a glass of wine on our patio overlooking Lake Cabernet.

Laid back and local. Tasty wines. Not sweet. Very accommodating staff. $7 for 7 wines. Lots of various activities throughout the year. Bring a picnic, your pup and a fishing pole!

Came out here for their monthly food truck festival called the NC Food Rodeo. The venue was very nice with plenty of parking close by. There was a great selection of food trucks (Haitian, Korean, Mediterranean, etc.), and even live music. Although I didn't buy any, I noticed they had a large variety of wines for really good prices. Was... More

I didn't catch the name of the guy that gave us our tasting and chatted with us, but he was super nice and friendly. The wine was yummy and the setting... More

We visit North Carolina Vineyards and Wineries regularly and can say, without doubt, this little place is our new favorite. It's unpretentious tasting room belies the wine they produce. The quality of some of their wines are on par with wines from other regions of the US and beyond. A particular stand-out is their 2008 Ensemble, a blend of Cabernet... More

Customer service was fabulous. We enjoyed the Reds and paid extra to do a full tasting. I'm happy we did. They have nice reds for nc. Sat outside by the pond for a relaxing afternoon. Enjoyed every second.
