Interesting place to visit to learn more about Fayetteville and Cape Fear River. A little small and really doubt any other exhibits would show there. Its free and never that busy. If you are in the Farmer's Market it is a good place to visit...More

Rude lady behind the desk, eclectic mix of artifacts. Our main motivation to visit was to see the model train display, however it appears as though it has been partly disconnected. (The lady working at the entrance didn't know what was happening to it or...More

Very small, but good history and nice to go learn about. There is a train that runs directly behind the museum and if you're lucky you will see it while there.

Very nicely done in an old building adjacent to Cape Fear Studio in downtown Fayetteville. The tour is self guided and the entrance is free. If you come to Fayetteville I suggest you visit it.

This was a quaint museum with really nice history about Fayetteville. I was impressed! The staff was very courteous! I would not suggest bringing small children because it's just not on their level.

We loved this museum--not so much be aisle of its main area but because of the annex. The docent In the main area was just behind the desk. But at the annex, the man there was wonderful and interacted with my kids!!!!

The transportation museum traces how people traveled before electric cars. It is small and quaint but filled with history inside. Outside, if you come on Wednesdays or Saturdays they have a market where you can buy produce and Saturdays, a variety of other goods from...More
