Trip for a memorial

We were treated very well by the staff and our room was very nice, clean, and a good value. We would stay here again.

What a Jewel- beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, warm and friendly staff! We needed a room only for a night and found this location not far from Brevard, NC while visiting family. Go ahead and book your stay you will not be disappointed 👍🏻

Check-in was easy and the starter was great. I thought the course had a nice layout with a good mixture of straightaway and dogleg holes – a nice test of golf. I especially liked the way the holes and green were defined by bunkering. Unfortunately, I found most of the bunkers. Equally unfortunately, the greens had just been aerated and... More

We wanted to be close by Asheville for our ballow trip as we needed to be there at 7 am. During leaf season it is expensive to stay in Asheville. This place was clean and the restaurant/bar/entertain was good but only lasted until 9:00 pm .

I wouldn't bother to play here. Just a flat course with the exception of 2 or 3 holes and course was in bad shape?

I booked this room mainly because of the inexpensive rate and not a chain. I'm so glad I did!! This is a hidden gem! Every room overlooks the golf course with spacious, modern rooms and patios/balconies. Very quiet, beautiful and nice. And the hotel breakfast is second to none! Great, hot buffet of good southern foods, not your typical hotel... More

first there is a lot happening with the course as the owners continue to make improvements. Since playing last year they have expanded their Tavern creating Zeke’s Greenside Tavern with a large outdoor patio. The course is still being improved and while some areas are in the transition process it continues to be a great course to play. We played... More

Etowah Valley Gold Club and Lodge isn't the fanciest pace to stay in NC. But if I wanted to spend a week away from it all, this would definitely make my short list. The rooms show a little wear, but they're clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. And if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle,... More

Just golfed Etowah Valley Country Club on a visit here to western North Carolina. This used to be my local golf club/pool and I enjoyed it much while I was here. It has been under new ownership and for the last two years and is making a comeback. I say come back because the locals tell me it's lost some... More
