Beautiful beach, but surf was too rough to fish. Excellent beach to just relax and listen to the waves. Not crowded and pleanty of space to hang out and play with pets and people.

Took a few minutes to find the parking area a few blocks back but worth the walk. Visited twice before noon on weekday. Wide clean beach with excellent shelling. The waves were a little calmer close to where the sound meets. There are 2 handicapped...More

We come here often as we live in Jacksonville!! It’s a little piece of heaven. There is very little parking, so either come really early or come later in the afternoon! Great place to do some shellin’! 🐚

Unbelievably stunning place where the intercostal meets the ocean. World class sunsets, miles of open beach. It feels like you are at the ends of the earth. An incredible place that you have to see at least once in a lifetime!

Love this place, No people, just beach and dunes. Only one other couple was there the day we visited on a bike ride. So serene and pure.

This place can be hard to find and we had a short walk through the dunes but definitely worth it! Beautiful to see and TONS of seashells. I wish we had prepared better for the hot weather as we didn’t get to stay very long....More

Beautiful beach! The Point was peaceful and practically secluded. There was a small crowd of beach-goers on the inlet entrance side of the beach. People were very friendly. Once I made it to the other side, I felt like I had the whole beach to myself....More

Never got to see it due to it always having the one 10 car parking lot full. Very disappointed. If you are military go to hospital point on Camp Lejeune

The Point offers spectacular views of nature and an opportunity for solace. There are dunes, roped-off areas for nesting birds, and tidal pools with hidden treasures. On the day we went, we were there about an hour after low tide; there were plenty of intact...More

There is a small parking lot with a white Pickett fence that you can park at- only about 10-12 spots. It is just past the sign for the POINT. From there, you have to walk up to the end of the road, turn right and walk to the... More

If you're asking about RV campgrounds, there are numerous ones in the area. The closest is the Holiday Trav-L-Park Resort, which is just off the beginning of Coast Guard Road (near Highway 58). Some of my in-laws stayed... More

When we went in 2017 there were not as many shells as I thought there would be. However if you are to go to the Point, make some time to catch the sunset because it is beautiful. We went around evening and I believe it was... More
