The Point offers spectacular views of nature and an opportunity for solace. There are dunes, roped-off areas for nesting birds, and tidal pools with hidden treasures. On the day we went, we were there about an hour after low tide; there were plenty of intact...More

This is an absolutely stunning area but it was a little too chilly on the day that we visited to really enjoy the views. Hopefully, we will return again when the weather is a little better.

The Point is a beautiful beach, nestled at the tip of Emerald Isle, across from Bear Island. The sunset is absolutely breathtaking and it is the perfect place to collect sea shells. In the off-season months, driving is allowed on the beach.

Beach is very well kept, some stretches are for homeowners and beach rentals . There is public access close to the point ! A few shells can be found on the point when the tide goes out !

We went to enjoy the sunset. We drove down but were unsure of the parking lot. My husband dropped us off while he went looking for the parking. We climbed the stairs to the beach. Once we reached the top we were shocked to see...More

Very scenic area for beach lovers. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Even though today is overcast and windy, the "rawness" of the elements still made it an outstanding experience to be out here.

This is a wide, very clean and uncrowded beach. It is very peaceful to walk here and enjoy the views. It is especially lovely at sunrise and sunset.

There are a few I have looked but they are typically through VRBO. You could check Emerald Isle reality as well :). Good luck!

You can get to the point from Coast Guard Road without a 4wd vehicle. Finding parking can be a challenge, and you might have to walk a block or two to get to the stairs over the dunes.
