The drive to get here is somewhat long and very interesting. The "hike" down to the bottom of the falls is short but can be slippery when wet. View once you get here it is amazing. Easy for just about anyone to walk down.

First off, every falls presents a danger if you act irresponsibly. That being said, this is a beautiful area to visit. We recommend getting there early, around noon it got packed with people, many laying out for picnics. A short hike and some careful footing...More

We stopped here after the manager of our hostel recommended it! It was an easy drive (kinda long but not bad!) and the walk from the parking area was short. The falls are very big and pretty! However, do NOT swim in the big pool!...More

I remember visiting the falls in the 1980's and it hasn't changed much at all except there are more visitors now. I guess the word got out. Still a fun walk to the falls. The walk is a little scary in spots so you'll need...More

This is a perfect swimming hole and wading creek. It does take a bit of time to get there and you think you've gone into the mountains but it's worth it. College kids and locals spend time here soaking up the sun and wading. You...More

After the winding path drive to reach the falls, we followed the easy path to see the beauty of the falls.

Yes. But DEFINITELY have them on a leash! Trails have lots of roots and rocks and no railings or ropes along the edge of the trails. If your dog pulls at his leash I would NOT take him. A great place to take dogs for a walk... More

A very short easy hike. Just remember the current is swift, especially after a lot of rainfall.
